Choose from 6 of our standard profiles or if your unsure we can help advise you on a suitable profile for your application.
Variations of width & height available on selected profiles
We have a range of colours to choose from.
Colour finishes include,
- Raw, natural looking, coarse surface finish, lower durability against surface wear
- Plain, cement slurry, mainly commercial applications, gives smooth cement colour finish
- Oxide, colour though entire mix, coarse surface finish, lower durability against surface wear
- Colour Hardener, Highest surface durability, excellent colour retention, vibrant appearance, smooth surface finish
All kerbs are troweled to a smooth finish.
A variety of surface textures and patterns are available to be pressed into the surface.
Not suitable for some profiles & colour finishes
The start/finish of a kerb can have different terminations (straight, bullnose, chamfered)
Along the kerb runs, turns can be either sharp or of varying radii
Steel reinforcing adds strength for a longer lasting product.
Where we cut expansion joints the reinforcing helps to prevent separation over time. All kerbs have reinforcing included unless requested otherwise.
Process summary for colour hardener kerbs
1. Path of the kerb is marked out on the ground
2. Grass is removed so kerb can be installed on solid surface
3. Concrete mix is extruded out of the machine
4. Colour is applied and troweled smooth
5. Optional textures and patterns are applied and expansion joints cut
6. Sealer is applied after sufficient curing time (typically 2-3wks after install) to help protect colour over time
